Zumanity Stripping Game

As a member of the Cirque du Soleil fan club (they are my favorite performers on the planet!) I get updates emailed to me about new shows or website stuff, etc. One show in particular is called Zumanity - The Sensual Side of Cirque du Soleil and explores human eroticism and sexuality. Unfortunately this is not one of their traveling shows and is only performed in Las Vegas, so I haven't had the opportunity to see it, though trust me I will!

Anyways, I got this little gem in my email today. It's a stripping game to promote the show. You have to follow this yellow ball around a letter, such as Z or U which eventually spells ZUMANITY, while the woman on screen, an amazing hoop girl who is, of course, incredibly athletic and sexy, wiggles around and strips piece by piece. For every successful round she takes an item of clothing off. Yes, the game gets harder as it progresses...

If you have some time to kill this is not a bad way to do it, and it's much better quality than most online trinket games of its kind. (Please choose the option to SKIP the intro because it's one of the most dorky things I've ever seen) As of now I haven't made it past "U," but if you happen to beat the game, let us know...Does she actually get completely naked or is it just a trap?

Also their website has a section where you can preview the show itself. If you like fantasy/artsy/amazingly creative pieces that seem almost impossible, you'll enjoy it, I promise!

(I tried to find a better quality video, but couldn't. It's the same girls as in the game...)

Here's where you can buy the music if you like it.

Yep, That Would be a Vagina...

Vulvology - Which I assume refers to the study of vulvas - is a website dedicated to showing pictures of vaginas. Actually I think the plural of vagina is vaginae, but have you ever heard anyone use that word before? Other than in the medical profession, maybe? No? Neither have I, so I'm going to keep using "vaginas."

Anyways, the site is supposed to be "an homage to the eternal and ubiquitous woman, through the glorification of her geographic and conceptual center, enveloped in mystery in all cultures and ages," and the creator is apparently very upset that it is often classified as porn since she is so staunchly against all forms of pornography. On this I agree. Picture after picture of vaginas doing nothing but sitting there is not porn. If viewers get turned on by them, so be it, but just because something causes sexual excitement does not mean it's necessarily porn. After all, many people think high heeled boots are a turn-on, but shoe shops aren't porn shops after all!

However, I find her absolute dislike of all pornography off-putting. "Did I tell you how I dislike pornography?" She says and, "You know what I hate the most? It's when they make the girls open their lips (labia) with their hands." Hmmm, I personally get really excited when my lover tells me to do exactly this. It makes me feel sexy, tempting, and desired. I love that he wants to look at me that closely, and adore being given orders in bed. But, to each her own.

So although I was annoyed reading her vagina-attached thoughts, and was mostly confused by the strange labels she used to categorize the pictures (Bivalve, Leaves, Walnuts?), its pseudo-feminist oddities intrigued me. Plus, if I ever wondered what other women's vaginas looked like without the porn-star makeovers, consider my curiosity sated.

(WARNING: This site has an obnoxious amount of pop-ups, so use your pop-up blocker if you have one!)

Sexy Artistic Tattoos

Lucky you! I couldn't figure out which picture I liked better so you get to see both of these hotties. Now, on with the article.

I think tattoos are very sexy, though I don't have any myself. There are many reasons for their appeal, perhaps the least of which is the look. Of course, like these lovely women point out, the look of a well placed and artistically designed tattoo has obvious sex appeal.

Much like lingerie, the idea of these tattoos is to emphasize the wearer's nudity. When people ask, "Why is she wearing a g-string? You can see everything. She might as well be naked!" they are clearly missing the point. The carefully positioned stringy things are not meant as a cover, but as a decoration. Rather than hide her "naughty bits" lingerie is supposed to attract the eyes (hands, mouth, etc.) to them. It's supposed to make her curves and shadows that much more tempting...Just like a good tattoo (IMHO).

But even sexier than making your fingertips itch to run over the dips and contours of every tattooed line, the real eroticism is decidedly psychological.

First you have to consider the design, character, etc. of the tattoo itself. It's safe to assume that for whatever reason the wearer decided to forever identify themselves by and with it. For example, the woman above has a detailed Dragon on her back, something that must have taken a very long time to do. Why did she pick a Dragon? What does it symbolize to her? Does that say anything about the type of person she is, her values, her imagination, etc.? And if someone else's tattoo holds you transfixed, even momentarily, does that mean you have a connection to them...perhaps on a deeper unconscious level? (After all, there are tattoos that make you go "Eh, big deal" and then there are some that make you stop in your tracks!)

Secondly, tattoos have traditionally been a mark of bravery, strength, and the willingness to persevere, since getting them necessarily involves the ordeal of voluntarily pain. The larger and more intricate the tattoo, the more painful you know it was to get. Again, the fact that the wearer actually went through with getting it says something about them. Maybe they did it to test their own endurance. Maybe to prove to someone else that they were strong enough. Maybe because they enjoyed the pain...

And therein lies the real reason why I personally get turned on by tattoos...the pain. When I see a great tattoo I can't help but imagine what that person was like while in the process of acquiring it. If it's a man, I love that he was able to do it, stone-faced, determined, focused. After all, if he could withstand hours of being jabbed repeatedly with a needle all for the sake of attaining a goal, he should be a fairly stable and ambitious guy. (Yes, I can hear the chorus of readers singing their disagreement now.)

And finally, a tattoo just makes a man look daring, bad-ass, and tough-as-hell. All qualities that make me tingle in just the right places...

Faster Condoms

I joined StumbleUpon today and I've been addicted to it ever since. I mean ridiculously addicted. Anyway, here's one of my recent stumbles that I think you might find interesting.

The Pronto Condom

If you go to their website you can see a demo of how to use it. Apparently the act of ripping open a condom package, positioning the condom correctly, and unrolling it takes too long and many people lose their sexual excitement in the process.

This condom takes care of that and makes putting on a condom as easy as it could physically be. All you do is snap the package open and lower it over your penis - no unrolling or finding out which way is correct. It does it all for you. Nice.

The only problem seems to be that it's available in South Africa and no where else. Maybe someone knows of a condom that works exactly the same way but is widely available?

It's worth viewing the demo just to see the coolness of it. As a girl, I'd be freakin' impressed if a guy whipped out one of these and was ready to go before I could blink!

Sunday Erotica

Since I mentioned BAD internet erotica in my last post, I'm very happy to say I can now bring to you a site that has very GOOD free erotica. What's that old saying? "Ask and you shall receive?" The site is called We Connect, and I think it's pretty new. I talked to the writers who are very very nice people, and wanted to share this little discovery. So, here's my Sunday Treat to You! And if you like the story below, be sure to check out We Connect and give them the support I think they deserve.

Ravished

This has been a very bad week for feminists. At least in my household.

This has never happened to me. Nev. Er.

I woke up tied to the headboard, being ravished (well, practically) by a pirate. I kid you not, World Wide Web.

Have I mentioned that I’m a heavy sleeper? Very.

But it wasn’t much past one in the morning when I was startled awake by the feeling of my legs being parted. I stretched, thinking, honestly, “I’m not really in the mood.” Usually Doc gets to me slowly, warms me up with touch. Now, he was just parting my thighs and moving in between them.

Then two things occurred to me at once. The first was, “I can’t move my arms.” The second was, “Why is my husband wearing a mask?” I mean, seriously. A damned black silk honest-to-Zorro bandanna mask. Some peoples’ kids.

“Feeling creative?” I asked languidly.

He didn’t speak at all, but he was a little more insistent than usual. My legs were quickly draped over his shoulders, forcing my ass off the bed, and he was probing with his cock between my thighs. I was a little dry. He grabbed my hair: he knows how much that turns me on, and after two or three minutes of hungry kissing, where I couldn’t move my hands or my head, pinned as I was to the bed, my thighs absurdly at right angles to the mattress, I was more than ready. And so was he.

I have to say, he didn’t last as long as I wanted him to. Not that time. But I was incredibly turned on. Before long my legs were wrapped around his ass, pulling him tighter into me. When I felt him speeding up and knew his orgasm was getting closer, I decided to play along. “You fucking bastard,” I hissed at him. “You fucking bastard!” That did it. He was coming, and hard.

When he was spent and lying on top of me, I grinned up at him. “Nice,” I drawled. “Very, very nice. You gonna untie me now?”

“I’m thinking about it,” he said. I love the feeling of helplessness when his body is on top of mine. I couldn’t move at all.

Definitely.

A bad week for feminism.

Thanks for that delicious quickie We Connect!

Why Pay for Erotica When You Can Get it for Free?

If you've ever gone searching around the internet for free erotica, you already know that there are a lot of websites to sift through! Unfortunately most of it is junk. I've tried to read countless stories, but have rarely made it past the first few lines. Rather than being exciting, most of them are down right boring.

So, I've come to a conclusion; it's better to spend a little money and buy quality erotica than to waste my valuable time searching through the plethora of trashy stories out there with middle-school-like plots and elementary-level writing techniques. I'm a grown-up for goodness sakes, and I want to read grown-up stories!!

I don't want to roll my eyes in frustration. Like when I come across these "sexy" lines - "Oh Baby, you're so hot I'm going to fuck you all night" or "He banged into her again and again." Wow, very creative there people...I think I'll go clean the oven now.

To this end, I've come up with a few reasons why I still BUY erotica:
  1. Editing - The more I can concentrate on the images in my mind, the better. Misspelled words and horrible grammar take too much away from the experience of reading. Instead of getting hot and bothered, I start editing the stupid thing myself. "Those are nice breasts...Not those is nice breasts!!" Ugh!
  2. Plot - This is one that could go either way. While I assume stories that have been approved for publication have made it through some sort of screening process, there are still a lot of shallow stories that make it through. However, I'll continue believing that if what I am reading did make it through, imagine what those that didn't were like!
  3. Properly Categorized - This goes back to the 'not wanting to waste my time' theme. When I'm in the mood to turn myself on, I usually have a rough idea of what I would enjoy at that moment, and I want to find it fast. Most of the free erotica is user submitted, which means the author gets to put the story in whatever category they want. In order to get the most exposure, they submit it to many categories instead of the one that really applies. Just because the story has a woman in it does not mean it should fall under "Lesbians!"
That's it, my little rant for the day. If you do happen to know of a really good free erotica site, feel free to leave me a link in the Comments section, because I (as I'm sure all of my readers) would appreciate checking it out.

In the mean time, here are a couple pay websites that offer erotic ebooks that I actually enjoy. I still have to do some sifting, but in general most of the stories are good reads. (I especially like the "paranormal" sections that include vampires, werewolves, ghosts, etc...) Enjoy!

With Penis in Hand

Sometimes when my husband and I are going to sleep, I cuddle up behind him, reach around in the classic "spoons" position, slide my hand down his stomach, and take hold of his penis. I don't do anything with it necessarily. It's not usually the beginnings of foreplay, or meant to turn him on (though judging by the reaction of his penis I know it does most of the time...) Instead the gesture is meant to show my love for him. It's like a good-night kiss, but better.

Grant it there is a possessive element about it. Part of me feels very pleased with myself for being the only one (theoretically and morally anyway) who is allowed to do this to him in the entire world. There's a little crazy voice in my head that screams out into the silent darkness of our bedroom, "Ha ha ha, I can do something you can't!" at no one in particular.

Then there's the mere physicality of it. Being that close, feeling his warmth in my hand, the way his body grows and shifts in response to my slightest caress. I'm sure he doesn't know how closely I pay attention. I'm sure he thinks that by the time my hand wanders over his stomach I'm mostly asleep...But I enjoy touching him too much and am too distracted by him to sleep in those moments.

After a while in my hand, he begins to return to normal. I guess by this point his penis realizes that it's not actually going to be used for anything sexual, so relaxes back into its own sleepy-time state. I hold it for a little longer, until my hand starts to feel that slight stickiness of sweaty skin-to-skin. It reminds me of the last time we made love; the delicious slapping sounds, the silky wetness of intimacy.

I sigh softly against his back, knowing that if I don't let go now, my husband will grow uncomfortable and shift his body away from mine. It'll just be an inch or two, but somehow I dread the separation anyway. So reluctantly I let him slip through my fingers, maybe give him one final squeeze, and settle my hand on his hip.

Sleep always comes unusually fast on these nights.

Will You Help Speak Sexy Support Women's Sexual Liberation?

I am very excited to announce the official opening of the all new Speak Sexy Online.

As many of you know, I am a strong advocate of women's rights, particularly women's sexual rights, and for a long time now I've been trying to decide how I could give more, help more, and really make a difference. I realize that through my blogs and websites, I am in an enviable position. I have the amazing ability to reach many people in a very short period of time.

So, after much consideration, I have finally decided on a way to combine both my love of sexuality with my advocacy for women. Speak Sexy has partnered with EdenFantasys, a sexuality retailer that offers a truly amazing array of Sex Toys, Erotic Books, Condoms, Lubes, and more in order to start the Speak Sexy Donation Program. I've chosen EdenFantasys because of their reputation for customer satisfaction, their extensive product selection, and their free shipping policy. I believe Speak Sexy's readers will benefit greatly from this partnership, and am confident that if you do choose to purchase from EdenFantasys, you will have a very positive shopping experience.

About the Donation Program

Every time you decide to make a sexually related purchase at EdenFantasys via Speak Sexy, I will donate 50% of my commission to Women for Women International. This means that 10% of your purchase total will be donated. For example, if you spend $50.00 on a vibrator and some condoms, $5.00 will go directly to Women for Women International.

I've carefully selected Women for Women International over other similar organizations because of their outstanding reputation and high media visibility. This organization focuses on educating and supporting women in war afflicted countries around the world. Although their focus is not primarily on sexuality, sexual issues are central to their efforts since rape, forced reproduction, and genital mutilation are all consequences of war that are inflicted primarily upon women. What I really admire most is that they don't just give women money, but teach them how to truly rebuild their lives and their communities, even giving micro-loans so that they can start their own businesses and support themselves and their children.

How Can You Help?

If you would like to help me support women around the world, all you have to do is visit Speak Sexy Online and click through to EdenFantasys via my website. This click-through lets both EdenFantasys and I know that you have chosen to participate in the donation program. That's it! With just one extra click you can help! And it is at no extra cost whatsoever to you.

If you would like to find out more details about this program, watch videos about Women for Women International, or would like to show your support by being added to our "Friends of Speak Sexy" page, visit Speak Sexy Online. All the information is there.

I sincerely thank you for reading this, and if you were moved by it, please pass this message along to anyone else you know who might also be interested in helping women through this donation program.

Spread the Word! Digg it!
